Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr IT Governance Analyst to advise on IT controls, risk management, and audits. The role partners with the AI Center of Excellence to align governance with AI development and supports process improvement across the software development lifecycle.

This contract-to-hire opportunity is remote with a W2 arrangement and benefits. Rate: $42.00–$52.00/hr; conversion to FTE after contract duration is available.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years IT governance experience with risk/compliance.
• 1–2 years AI governance exposure preferred.
• Familiar with NIST/NAIC frameworks.
• Audit coordination with internal and external partners.
• Experience with IBM watsonx and Microsoft Copilot.
• Healthcare/insurance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject expert on IT governance, controls, and risk.
• Improve SDLC documentation and control implementation.
• Oversee IT audits with internal teams and external firms.
• Identify weaknesses and elevate remediation actions.
• Create and manage IT risk policies, standards, controls.
• Lead complex IT process change initiatives across divisions.
• Prioritize change portfolio and gather inputs.
• Collaborate with AI Center of Excellence on AI governance.
