Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr IT Governance Analyst to provide counsel on IT controls, risk management, and audits from a remote, contract-to-hire position.

The role partners with the AI Center of Excellence and coordinates audits, leads complex IT process changes across divisions, and supports governance across traditional and generative AI. This position offers a W2 setup with benefits and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of IT governance experience, including risk and compliance.
• 1 to 2 years of AI governance exposure preferred.
• Hands-on experience with NIST and NAIC frameworks.
• Audit coordination with internal stakeholders and external firms.
• Experience with IBM watsonx and Microsoft Copilot preferred.
• Healthcare or health insurance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject expert on IT governance, controls, and risk management.
• Drive improvements to the software development lifecycle, including documentation and control implementation.
• Oversee and coordinate IT audits with internal teams and external firms.
• Identify systemic IT control weaknesses and remediation actions.
• Create and manage IT risk management processes, policies, standards, and controls.
• Lead complex IT process change initiatives with cross-division impact.
• Prioritize a portfolio of change initiatives and define future efforts.
• Collaborate with AI Center of Excellence to apply governance for traditional and AI solutions.
