Eliassen Group seeks a Sr IT Governance Analyst to provide counsel on IT controls, risk management, and audits. The role partners with the AI Center of Excellence to align internal AI development with governance standards and supports process improvement across the software development lifecycle.

This contract-to-hire opportunity is remote and W2; the pay range is $42.00 to $52.00 per hour. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in IT governance and experience with NIST/NAIC frameworks and audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 7+ years related experience in IT governance.
• Experience coordinating IT audits with internal and external teams.
• Hands-on with risk management and governance frameworks (NIST/NAIC).
• Preference for healthcare/insurance domain exposure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject expert on IT governance, controls, and risk management for leaders and business areas.
• Drive improvements to the software development lifecycle, including documentation and control implementation.
• Oversee and coordinate IT audits with internal stakeholders and external firms.
• Identify systemic IT control weaknesses and recommend remediation actions.
• Create, implement, and manage IT risk management processes, policies, standards and controls.
• Lead complex IT process change initiatives with cross-division impact.
• Prioritize a portfolio of change initiatives and gather inputs for future efforts.
• Collaborate with the AI Center of Excellence to apply governance for traditional, generative, and agentic AI.
