Job summary

Telnet, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the primary finance partner for assigned IT departments. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes while partnering with Accounting to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting.
• Experience supporting an IT organization or strong working understanding of IT cost drivers (infrastructure, software licensing, professional services, labor).
• TBM Council Certified TBM Analyst (CTBA) preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• CPA or CMA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner for assigned IT departments, providing planning, spend analysis, and finance support.
• Own the annual budget and rolling forecasts for assigned departments, including capex vs opex planning.
• Partner with Accounting for month-end close, accruals, reversals, and reporting.
• Support TBM practices, cost allocation, taxonomy integrity, and cost transparency.
• Develop KPI scorecards and dashboards to track IT performance and cost efficiency.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, manage POs, renewals, and multi-year commitments.
• Conduct ROI and TCO analyses for technology investments and projects.
• Create data-driven executive presentations with actionable recommendations.
