Job summary

American Water seeks a Senior Technology Field Services Specialist to install, configure, troubleshoot, and support IT hardware and software for desktop and mobile users. You will assist with ensuring reliable platforms and tools are available to support production schedules and service levels.

The role requires 5+ years of IT experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows OS, networks, and mobility devices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT work experience with hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and work safely.
• Acquire CPR/AED by within one year per company requirements.
• MDM Tools experience (WS1, SCCM) and mobility knowledge.
• Office 365 proficiency and strong Microsoft tooling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 after-hours technical field support.
• Configure, deploy and maintain IT assets and lifecycle management.
• Assist senior ITS personnel with hardware/OS issues and escalations.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation across sites.
• Support budgeting and resource planning for regional IT operations.
