Job summary

Great Plains Ventures is seeking an experienced IT Enterprise Systems Administrator to support and improve our nationwide technology platforms across the United States and Australia. The role requires hands-on management of enterprise infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, VMware, identity, backup, and resilience.

You will work independently within a small team, balance priorities, and contribute to standards, investments, and long-term technology direction to keep GPV’s

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
• 3+ years administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid identity services.
• Experience administering VMware or Hyper-V virtualized environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise networking, including switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, or VPN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, professional end-user support for incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand needs and keep operations productive.
• Balance day-to-day support with platform ownership, projects, and improvements.
• Assist teammates and share knowledge to ensure collaborative problem solving.
• Administer and monitor VMware/Windows Server infrastructure and core services.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services, licensing, and collaboration tools.
• Support identity services and hybrid identity management.
