Job summary

Colonial Group in Plano, TX is seeking an Enterprise Systems Administrator to oversee the administration, support, and integration of the company’s ERP and related systems, including IFS, SugarCRM, and homegrown GURU tools. You will manage user access, upgrades, backups, and security controls, ensuring reliability across multiple environments.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise applications, strong SQL skills, and experience with APIs/integration patterns, with travel up to 30% and on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field, or equivalent ERP experience.
• 5+ years admin experience with ERP/CRM/PLM in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience with IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.
• Experience with ERP upgrades, cloud migrations, and testing.
• Experience across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, or Operations.
• Strong SQL and relational DB concepts; performance tuning.
• Experience with APIs, middleware, ETL, and data integration.
• Ability to document processes and provide end-user training.

Responsibilities

• Administer multiple enterprise systems (IFS, SugarCRM, GURU).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, environments, patches, and upgrades.
• Lead migrations and major upgrades including IFS Cloud.
• Design and maintain integrations between systems and backend services.
• Monitor performance, implement alerting, and ensure SLAs.
• Provide end-user support and develop training materials.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT partners on enhancements.
• Maintain security/compliance and change management procedures.
