Job summary
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an IT Engineer with Microsoft Enterprise Systems Administrator experience to support a federal contract. You will manage Windows/Linux environments, provide Tier 2 incident resolution, and engage with multiple security enclaves in hybrid setups across CONUS/OCONUS.
Responsibilities include system administration, application troubleshooting, remote end-user support, and collaboration on special projects.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience in IT engineering or administration.
- Active Directory Administration and network services knowledge.
- Experience with Linux and Windows in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL foundations.
- Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph, ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for Windows and Linux workstations and servers.
- Troubleshoot applications and investigate performance issues.
- Assist customers with incident resolution and remote desktop support.
- Coordinate with external teams to improve user experience.
- Respond to escalations and participate in special projects.
