Job summary

OhioHealth in the United States seeks a Senior IT Engineer in the Voice/Telecom Engineering space. You will partner with infrastructure teams, architects, and vendors to plan, evaluate, and implement technologies and services across the telecom and network stack.

The role emphasizes technology strategy, roadmap execution, standards, and automation to deliver reliable, high‑quality solutions for internal customers. You will also manage vendor relationships within the IS Network department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 8 years of technical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of telecom/voice platforms and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Operations: coordinate with customers and vendors on crisis, change, and release management and ITIL processes.
• Technology strategy: develop roadmaps, standards, and automation for infrastructure technologies.
• Research and analysis: plan and justify initiatives including TCO, optimization and efficiency.
• Supplier management: monitor vendor performance and produce status reports to meet quality expectations.
