Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Senior-Network-Telecom Engineer-Information Services to design, build and troubleshoot enterprise datacenter networking and related infrastructure. The role includes evaluating and implementing new products with monitoring, and supporting networking protocols, Microsoft ecosystems, databases, and scripting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with core/distro/access/leaf architectures, Arista CloudVision, Cisco gear, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred Or Equivalent Experience.
• 5-7 years of experience required.
• Healthcare, health insurance and health providers experience and understanding of processes is preferred.
• Experience working with hypervisors and scripting required.
• Requires experience working with vendors to quote moderately complex solutions.
• Cloud experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design/build/test/troubleshoot/document activities for enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools and platforms.
• Evaluate, analyze, configure, and implement new products and tools while ensuring appropriate operational monitoring is enabled.
• Provide support for logical networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, relational databases, and programming/scripting.
