Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is hiring an IT Engineer to design, implement, and manage its technology infrastructure. You will work on systems, networks, cloud operations, and cybersecurity, focusing on architecture and lifecycle management in a fast-growing aerospace startup.

The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on IT experience, a Bachelor's degree, and active TS/SCI clearance. On-site work in Playa Vista is expected, with equity and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 5-7 years of progressive hands-on IT engineering, systems administration or network engineering experience.
• US citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering, administration, and troubleshooting of systems, servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers from deployment through ongoing management.
• Administer Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux environments, incl. Linux distributions.
• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VLANs, Wi‑Fi, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls, and policies.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune, Jira/Confluence, and Slack.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS GovCloud).
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Lead or participate in IT infrastructure projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support and assist other IT teams with complex issues.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and changes.
