Job summary

Turing’s IT team seeks a Senior IT Engineer to own identity, devices, and automation across our corporate environment. You’ll implement secure access, manage multiple operating systems, and drive automation that reduces manual toil while aligning with security objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or similar roles.
• Hands-on with identity providers (Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace) and MDM tooling.
• Experience administering and integrating SaaS applications at scale.
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
• Security-minded with experience implementing corporate security controls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own identity and access management across our SaaS estate, including provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Manage the device fleet (macOS, Windows, Linux) via MDM, imaging, config, patching, and compliance.
• Automate the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Administer and integrate core SaaS applications and build automation via APIs and scripting.
• Collaborate with security on controls, endpoint hardening, and least-privilege access.
• Design self-service tooling to reduce ticket queues and manual interventions.
• Drive reliability by troubleshooting infrastructure and endpoint issues and improving monitoring.
• Document systems thoroughly and mentor IT team members.
