Job summary

Tempo is building a team to own and scale corporate IT infrastructure, focusing on identity, device management, and security automation. This hands-on engineering role brings rigor to IT systems at the crypto-enabled payments company.

You’ll work on end-to-end identity lifecycles, SSO, endpoint security, and infrastructure-as-code, helping Tempo operate securely at scale in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT engineering roles.
• Okta admin: SSO/SCIM/SAML/OIDC integrations, lifecycle policies.
• Jamf Pro experience: PreStage enrollment, configuration profiles, software update management, certificate distribution. macOS-first
• EDR deployment and operation: SentinelOne or similar, policy tuning, MDM deployment, alert triage
• Strong scripting (Python/Bash/Go preferred), REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, auth flows
• Git-based config management, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• DNS, certificates/PKI, ZTNA, and modern access control models

Responsibilities

• Architect and automate identity lifecycle across HRIS → Okta → SaaS apps, eliminating manual provisioning.
• Complete and maintain SSO/SCIM integrations across the SaaS stack.
• Own Jamf Pro end-to-end: PreStage enrollment, config profiles, software updates.
• Deploy and tune endpoint security (EDR) — policy management, MDM-driven deployment, alert triage.
• Expand SIEM coverage and write detection/alerting rules (detection-as-code).
• Build toward infrastructure-as-code management of IT tooling (Terraform, GitHub Actions).
• Resolve escalations in identity, device, access beyond first-line support.
• Drive SOC 2 readiness with unified audit trails across systems.
