Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Endpoint Analyst to lead the endpoint strategy, deployment, and continuous improvement of our desktop, laptop, and mobile device environments.

The role bridges technical teams and end users, focusing on security, performance, and user satisfaction. You will mentor teammates, drive standardization with the Endpoint Engineering team, and collaborate across IT to ensure compliant, scalable endpoint solutions across all sites in Smithfield, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university plus 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Broad experience administering and supporting Windows, Apple, and Android devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, support, and continual improvement of endpoint infrastructure.
• Coordinate deployment and testing of new endpoint solutions with minimal business disruption.
• Drive automation, lifecycle management, and standardization of endpoint hardware and software.
• Manage asset lifecycle tracking in CMDB for visibility and compliance.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Applications, and Security teams.
• Provide on-site or remote assistance and user training for deployments.
• Escalate and diagnose complex endpoint issues from the Service Desk and implement preventive measures.
• Stay current on endpoint technologies and advocate process improvements.
