Job summary

CAVA is seeking a Senior Technology Operations Manager to lead the Technology Deployment Group in Washington, DC. You will oversee end-to-end deployments for new openings, closings, renovations, and refreshes, coordinating with Real Estate, Construction, and IT to minimize downtime and ensure quality.

The role demands strategic leadership, a track record of large-scale deployments, and a focus on standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across the restaurant fleet.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology deployment or IT operations in multi-location environments.
• At least 5 years of management experience leading deployment teams.
• Experience across 100-location deployments including openings, renovations, and refreshes.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant/retail tech stacks (POS, networking, digital signage, KDS, security).
• ITIL or IT operations best practices knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technology operations professionals.
• Own end-to-end tech deployment lifecycle for new openings.
• Manage decommissioning for restaurant closings.
• Oversee deployments for renovations with cross-functional teams.
• Plan and execute new deployments across the fleet.
• Manage technology refresh cycles across locations.
• Develop a strategic deployment roadmap aligned with growth.
• Build relationships with Real Estate, Construction, Operations, and IT.
• Manage vendor and integrator relationships and SLAs.
• Establish standardized deployment playbooks and processes.
• Lead deployment metrics and reporting.
• Champion continuous improvement to increase efficiency.
• Escalation point for critical deployment issues.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Service Management to track incidents.
