Job summary

CAVA is seeking a Construction Manager to lead new restaurant buildouts from site evaluation to close-out, partnering with Real Estate, Design, Operations and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You’ll manage budgets, schedules and contracts, review designs for constructability, oversee permitting and vendor bids, and ensure brand standards across multi-site locations. Travel ~50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years in construction or project management, incl. multi-site retail/restaurant buildouts.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, leases and technical docs.
• Experience managing general contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Willingness to travel at least 50%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-lease evaluation through project close-out.
• Collaborate with Real Estate and Design teams on site evaluation and cost projections.
• Develop and manage project budgets, updating costs and validating projections.
• Manage schedules for leadership review and ensure constructability and cost efficiency.
• Oversee permitting, bidding, contracting and vendor management.
• Ensure OSI pricing/procurement and coordinate post-occupancy support.
