Job summary

CAVA is seeking a Development Coordinator to support restaurant growth by driving development projects from initiation to turnover. You will manage vendor quotes, permits, contracts, and fixtures while keeping systems and trackers up to date.

This role acts as the main bridge between internal teams and third-party vendors throughout the construction process. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of project coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role with experience in Development or Procurement a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple active projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RFQ and bidding process for general contractors and third-party vendors, ensuring accuracy and consistency across documentation.
• Maintain project data and documentation in Sitefolio, including budget entries, vendor onboarding, insurance certificates, and contract uploads.
• Track vendor quotes and purchase orders against budget, flagging scope or cost concerns, and support invoice processing and approvals.
• Track and manage delivery schedules for furniture, signage, and equipment to support construction timelines and operational readiness.
• Oversee permitting coordination by liaising with expediters and tracking progress for business licenses, health permits, and construction approvals.
• Support Construction Managers during close-out by coordinating documentation, reviewing as-builts, and gathering tenant allowance materials.
• Prepare and submit tenant improvement allowance packages to internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation and timely landlord reimbursement.
• Participate in project calls and vendor meetings to share updates, clarify responsibilities, and ensure understanding across functions.
• Ensure consistent application of file management standards and maintain development records to support audit and compliance needs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners, including Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure projects remain on track for a successful opening.
