Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency in Montgomery, AL seeks a senior civilian Program Manager (GG-15) to supervise a dispersed team of senior IT leaders and contractors, translating strategic direction into operational execution and coaching program managers.

You will identify bottlenecks, deconflict dependencies, and prepare executive-level status reports and risk assessments to support Division leadership and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications

• Review information technology-related work and ensure accuracy and consistency with standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, anticipating IT needs and tailoring products or services.
• Brief senior management and IT staff on system status and complex information for non-technical audiences.
• Identify alternatives to address highly complex IT issues and evaluate potential solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a geographically dispersed team of senior civilian PMs, military officers, and contractors.
• Translates division-level strategic direction into operational execution and coaching of senior program managers.
• Proactively identifies and eliminates policy, organizational, technical, and resource bottlenecks to enable mission-critical work.
• Deconflicts inter-program dependencies and mediates disputes among senior program leads to foster a high-performance culture.
• Prepares, coordinates, and reviews executive-level program status, baselines, risks, and resource data for leadership and stakeholder engagements.
