Qualifications

• Hands-on NetApp experience is required.
• Extensive experience with SAN and NAS storage technologies and concepts.
• Strong knowledge of storage protocols including S3, CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
• Experience with capacity planning and sizing storage/backups (Veritas NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubrik, CommVault).
• Proficiency in storage performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience in data center migrations and storage replication technologies.
• Senior‑level design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large‑scale storage systems.
• Strong HA concepts and practical implementation in storage environments.
• Solid understanding of hardware basics (disk, memory, CPU, NIC, HBA, RAID, I/O) and TCP/IP basics.
• Experience connecting storage arrays to hypervisors (Nutanix, VMware VCF, OpenStack).
• Knowledge of federal security hardening requirements (FISMA, STIG).
• CompTIA Security+ or similar certification for IAT Level II DoD 8570 compliance.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong collaboration and teamwork.
