Job summary

Adventure Technology Services is seeking an experienced storage systems engineer in Laurel, MD to design, configure, and support storage and backup platforms. You will work across SAN/NAS environments, diagnose issues, and ensure security and performance standards are met.

The role requires hands-on NetApp experience, collaboration with engineers and architects, and participation in on-call rotations. A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience is expected, with ongoing documentation

Qualifications

Must have NetApp experience and hands-on storage engineering experience (SAN/NAS).
IAT Level 2 Certification required.
Bachelor's degree with 12 years' experience or Associates with 15 years without degree.

Responsibilities

Design, architect, configure, deploy, upgrade, and support storage and backup platforms and management tools.
Diagnose and troubleshoot storage systems and related technologies.
Adhere to engineering and architecture standards and participate in technical review meetings.
Evaluate, deploy, manage, and integrate new technologies with engineers and service teams.
Provide incident support and participate in on-call rotations.
Create and maintain technical documentation including diagrams and run books.
