Pliancy is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to help modernize client technology in Boston. You will work on-site at client offices, providing day-to-day IT operations support, project work, and hands-on troubleshooting with a team that values people-first problem solving.

You’ll engage with life sciences and capital management clients, documenting processes, training users, and contributing to internal initiatives. A strong communicator who loves learning new tech will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Willing and able to commute within Boston.
• 4+ years of general IT support experience.
• MacOS and Windows desktop experience.
• MDM experience (Addigy, Intune).
• Working knowledge of Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Box, Dropbox, and Egnyte.
• Working knowledge of public cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) with IaaS/PaaS focus.
• General understanding of network fundamentals, including wireless mesh.
• Excellent soft skills (communication, relationship-building, stress management).
• Experience supporting and communicating with executive teams.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Troubleshooting experience with methodical approach.
• Documentation and asset management mindset.
• Team-oriented with collaboration and process improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of forward-thinking technology in rapid-growth environments.
• Develop unique, cutting-edge solutions to business problems leveraging technology.
• Provide high-touch IT support to executives, assistants, and staff.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues and respond to daily requests.
• Create new users, configure laptops, and set up desks/workstations.
• Train users on tools and technology to meet business needs.
• Document assets, configurations, passwords, and processes for accuracy.
• Assist with office moves, upgrades, and AV deployments.
