Job summary

Pliancy, based in Boston, is seeking an on-site IT support professional to service life sciences and capital management clients. You’ll work closely with clients, resolve technical issues, and help improve processes while collaborating with a team that values people and innovation.

The role requires 4+ years of IT support, MacOS and Windows experience, MDM (Addigy/Intune), AD/Azure, SaaS familiarity, and cloud knowledge, plus excellent communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of general IT support experience.
• MacOS and Windows desktop experience.
• MDM (device posturing) experience (Addigy, Intune).
• Working knowledge of Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Experience with common SaaS Offerings (Microsoft 365, Box, Dropbox, Egnyte).
• Working knowledge of public cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Understanding of network fundamentals, including wireless mesh networks.
• Excellent soft skills and communication.
• Experience supporting executive teams.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Troubleshooting experience and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of forward-thinking technology in rapid-growth environments.
• Develop unique, cutting-edge solutions to business problems by leveraging technology.
• Provide high-touch support to executives, executive assistants, and staff.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues and assist with daily requests.
• Create new users, configure laptops, and set up desks/workstations.
• Train users on and assist with the use of tools and technology to meet business needs.
• Document assets, configurations, passwords, processes for current records.
• Assist with office moves, upgrades, and AV deployments.
