CNO Financial Group is seeking a Sr IT Business Architect in Carmel, IN. You will lead and support moderate to complex projects to define business capabilities, analyze problems, and align technology with business goals.

You will collaborate with BR Directors, IT leaders, architects, and product owners on large transformations. Responsibilities include scoping, estimation, solutioning of new systems, and producing artifacts like capability views and heatmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, business, economics, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of proven business architect experience.
• Knowledge of Insurance domain.
• Solid knowledge of IT systems and how they integrate with business areas.
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business technology requests of moderate complexity and define scope and requirements.
• Define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
• Liaise among stakeholders to elicit and validate needs for changes to workflows and information systems.
• Lead moderately to complex projects and create process maps, value chains, and use case artifacts.
• Create business capability views and perform root cause analysis and related artifacts.
• Build and grow relationships vital to program success.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enable continuous improvement.
• Prepare communications and presentations on business systems and analysis efforts.
