Job summary

Citi in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Lead Business Architect to define target state business architecture for critical finance domains as part of a multi-year Oracle SaaS migration. You will translate strategic goals into a coherent blueprint and guide transformation efforts, leading a small team of architects and partnering with Finance, Operations and Technology.

The role emphasizes business process design, data integrity, and multi-system reconciliation, with influence across senior leaders

Qualifications

Proven track record as a Business Architect or similar strategic role in financial services.
Deep knowledge of core finance processes including General Ledger and consolidation.
Experience modeling end-to-end business capabilities and processes at scale.
Strong understanding of financial data flows and governance.
Experience in large-scale transformations, preferably SaaS ERP migrations.

Responsibilities

Define target state architecture for key finance domains and controls.
Map current processes, identify gaps, and drive simplification and automation.
Develop detailed business blueprints and data flow diagrams.
Champion robust reconciliation and substantiation frameworks.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Front Office and Operations.
Translate business architecture into functional requirements for Tech.
