Job summary

CNO Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr IT Business Architect to lead and support moderate to complex projects, defining business capabilities, conducting analysis, and aligning technology with business objectives.

The role pairs IT with business units, guiding scoping, estimation, and solutioning of new systems. Candidates should have 7+ years in business architecture within the insurance domain and strong stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Economics or equivalent.
• 7 years of proven business experience as a business architect, consultant, and/or a similar role.
• Knowledge of Insurance domain.
• Strong working knowledge of IT systems and business applications.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate business technology requests of moderate complexity and lead/ conduct analysis to define scope, sizing and requirements.
• Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
• Act as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, organize, evaluate and validate needs for changes to business workflows and information systems.
• Lead moderately to complex projects and create process maps, value chain maps, design artifacts and use cases.
• Create business capability views, heatmaps, value stream analyses, and diagrams.
• Build and grow business relationships vital to program success.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enable continuous improvement.
• Prepare communications and presentations related to business systems and analysis efforts.
