Job summary

CoreSite is a leading colocation data center company delivering space, power, cooling and connectivity. We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to analyze business processes, translate needs into epics and user stories, and support software delivery with UAT and documentation.

The role collaborates with technical and non-technical teams in a hybrid work environment, requiring up to 2 days on-site and occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related studies preferred.
Six (6) or more years of related experience, including at least three (3) years supporting a variety of business software and three (3) years supporting IT with systems implementations as a Business SME or Product Owner.
Salesforce certification(s) a plus (Administrator, Business Analyst, Advanced Administrator).
Knowledge of MuleSoft or Enterprise Integration Strategies are a plus.
Demonstrated experience using and supporting developed and purchased business applications.
Demonstrated experience discussing issues at a technical or non-technical level.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex business processes to identify deficiencies, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Serve as a subject matter expert in relation to key business processes across features and systems.
Gather requirements via process workshops, discovery sessions and backlog refinement to translate needs into epics and acceptance criteria.
Own or facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of user stories or features to ensure release readiness and support QA teams.
Present scoping, cost-benefit analyses and solution assessments to leadership.
Adhere to SDLC methodology and compliance obligations.
Collaborate with functional leads, technical leads and Enterprise Solution Architect.
Maintain process/project documentation in Confluence/Box and other tools.
Support change management and evaluate downstream impact.
Serve as Scrum Master and/or Project Manager as needed.
Promote CoreSite culture and Guiding Principles.
