Novo Nordisk Bloomington is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer (IT Automation) to lead and support automation projects across manufacturing, utilities and facility systems. The role focuses on safe, compliant, high-reliability automation and lifecycle upgrades, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement robust control solutions.
Responsibilities include defining technical requirements, developing software for DeltaV DCS and SCADA platforms, and ensuring QA/QC through IQ/OQ testing
Formación
- Pharmaceutical automation experience required.
- Experience with DeltaV DCS, SCADA, and PI Data Historian.
- Strong English reading ability and problem-solving skills.
Responsabilidades
- Serve as automation SME for assigned areas.
- Monitor daily production operations and respond to automation issues.
- Lead troubleshooting of process automation and control systems (programming, hardware, instrumentation).
- Develop and maintain control software/configurations (DeltaV DCS, PI Data Historian, PLC/HMI, SCADA).
- Lead automation projects from requirements through design and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA and change-control procedures.
