Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in automation engineering, systems integration, or a comparable technical leadership role.
• Experience defining automation strategies, translating org objectives into roadmaps, and guiding initiatives.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise workflow automation platforms, API-based integrations, and connected business systems.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft Entra, and Intune.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript scripting, with version control and structured software delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of SaaS security, IAM, and risk assessment for third-party tools and integrations.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, modular automation workflows that are reusable.
• Ability to analyze root causes and determine where standardization delivers value.
• Demonstrated ability to balance efficiency, security, reliability, and business needs.
• Experience applying AI tools to redesign workflows while maintaining human oversight.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinking and proactive continuous-improvement mindset.
• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity platforms like Claude and Glean, and automation tools such as Zapier.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional automation initiatives that improve scalability, employee experience, and business execution.
• Own and maintain the enterprise automation and integration ecosystem, including Zapier and connected apps, ensuring reliability and security.
• Establish and operate an Automation and Agentic AI Center of Excellence with governance standards and procedures.
• Develop reusable frameworks, templates, libraries, and design patterns for self-service automation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support AI adoption and establish responsible governance.
• Design modular, secure integration architectures and automation pipelines with RBAC and least-privilege.
• Assess processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-informed improvements and roadmaps.
• Re-engineer complex workflows using AI-powered tools to create reusable, efficient solutions with oversight.
• Translate objectives into actionable automation strategies balancing value, feasibility, risk, and maintainability.
• Evaluate new tools and approaches for security and enterprise suitability.
• Establish best practices for automation development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Partner with IT and engineering to troubleshoot integrations and optimize solutions.
• Communicate decisions, progress, risks, and impact to technical teams and executives.
