Job summary

The Department of Auditor General (DAG) is seeking an IT Auditor 4 to lead IT audit efforts across major statewide reviews. Remote telework is offered with occasional travel to Harrisburg, PA for training; the role includes supervising IT Auditors and guiding CAAT/data analytics work.

Starting salary for new Commonwealth employees is $78,925 per year. A Bachelor's degree and relevant auditing/IT experience are required, with CISA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field AND 1 year experience as Auditor 3 / IT Auditor 3 or equivalent.
• 4 years of accounting/auditing experience including supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Audit leadership: manage daily activities of IT Auditors and guide staff.
• Work assignment: assign tasks and monitor progress of audit work.
• Technical review: perform first level reviews of data analytics, CAATs, and IT control testing.
• Advanced analysis: conduct complex IT control testing and develop data analytics approaches.
• Standards knowledge: maintain knowledge of ACL or similar analytics software and relevant audit standards.
• Staff training: train team members on standards, procedures, software, and working paper techniques.
