Job summary

Careerwebsite is seeking a qualified IT Auditor 4 to join the Department of Auditor General's Bureau of Information Technology Audits in Pennsylvania. The role supports reviewing technology controls and protecting state financial information, with remote work from home in Pennsylvania and occasional travel to Harrisburg for training.

The position requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 1–4 years of relevant auditing experience, plus familiarity with IT audit standards and CAAT tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or related field.
• One year of experience as an Auditor 3, IT Auditor 3, Liquor Store Examiner 3, or a Management Trainee; or four years of related accounting/auditing experience including supervisory experience.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience in the listed fields.

Responsibilities

• Audit leadership: manage daily activities of IT Auditors and guide staff toward audit goals.
• Work assignment: assign tasks and monitor progress of audit work.
• Technical review: perform first-level reviews of data analytics, CAATs, and IT control testing for multiple audits.
• Advanced analysis: conduct complex IT control testing and develop data analytics/CAAT approaches.
• Standards knowledge: maintain knowledge of ACL or similar audit analytics software and relevant audit manuals and ISACA standards.
• Staff training: teach staff on standards, procedures, software, and working papers.
