Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks an experienced Incident Manager to lead enterprise incident management across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments for a federal customer in Washington, DC. The role requires 24x7 coordination with NOC, Service Desk, and government stakeholders to restore services rapidly and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in IT service management with 3+ years in incident leadership in a federal or large enterprise environment.
• Experience managing P1/P2 major incidents in 24x7 operations.
• Hands-on ITSM platform administration, preferably ServiceNow, with strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end enterprise incident management lifecycle from detection to formal closure.
• Coordinate with NOC, Service Desk, engineering, and Government stakeholders during incidents.
• Lead major incident events, including war rooms, bridge calls, and PIRs.
• Develop incident metrics dashboards and contribute to continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with FISMA/NIST and SBA IT policies in incident handling.
