Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee enterprise hardware IT asset management from end to end in Daytona Beach, FL or Plano, TX. You will own asset data accuracy, lifecycle operations, and governance across 20,000+ teammates and 500+ locations.

The role requires deep experience with ITAM, ServiceNow integration, and cross-functional collaboration. Expect hands-on data work, asset reporting, and audits in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in IT asset management or IT operations with asset data ownership.
• Experience implementing or operating ITAM in ServiceNow, including asset module and CMDB relationship.
• Knowledge of endpoint management and discovery tooling and data normalization into asset records.

Responsibilities

• Own daily/weekly reconciliation between discovery data, endpoint tooling, procurement and ServiceNow asset record.
• Manage asset exception/aging queue with field services, service desk and engineers to close items.
• Track unaccounted, missing, and stale assets; follow up with teammates and locations.
• Maintain stock and spare inventory across staging locations with counts and replenishment triggers.
• Verify asset data accuracy including physical or remote verification when data is inconsistent.
• Process and validate asset transactions ensuring updates within defined SLAs.
• Build and publish recurring asset reports covering accuracy, aging, and recovery.
