Job summary

Cboe is seeking an IT Asset Management Administrator in New York to oversee the accuracy and lifecycle governance of the company’s IT asset base, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and EUC devices. The role collaborates with Infrastructure, security, project teams, and vendors to optimize assets from acquisition through retirement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing hardware and software assets at an enterprise level and/or in a high security environment.
• Hands-on data center experience with physical asset audits and inventory reconciliation, asset tagging and barcode/RFID scanning, rack and cabinet layout familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the inventory database of record for all IT assets (servers, storage, networking equipment, EUC devices), ensuring data is complete and current.
• Monitor the full lifecycle of IT assets—from procurement to disposal.
• Conduct regular data center audits to verify inventory accuracy and policy compliance.
• Manage secure onsite hardware disposal activities with internal teams and external vendors.
• Integrate IT asset management with configuration management to provide a complete view of IT operations.
• Oversee IT asset management tools and network discovery scanning functionality.
• Enforce asset management policies covering security, compliance, and risk management.
• Perform annual software license reconciliations to support cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams and project managers to support asset allocation for initiatives.
• Coordinate IT hardware shipments globally across locations.
• Produce regular reports on asset utilization and financial analysis of IT infrastructure.
• Identify and drive process improvements in asset tracking and lifecycle management.
• Report asset status and issues to senior management and relevant teams.
• Assist with regulatory exams by drafting responses to regulator inquiries.
