Job summary

Division of Administration/Office of Technology Services in the Greater Baton Rouge area seeks an experienced Senior Developer to join the DPS application development team. You will analyze, design, develop, implement and support IT systems with partner agencies, OTS personnel and vendors.

The role emphasizes modernized applications, enterprise integration, and strong DevOps practices. You will lead development using .NET/C#, SQL, Blazor, and related frameworks in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of information technology experience or equivalent combinations as specified.
• Combination of education and experience per the posting requirements.
• Substitutions allowed via approved certifications per Civil Service rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical consultant functions for highly complex program areas and apps.
• Provide systems and technical expertise on projects for management levels.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex applications using the OTS stack.
• Offer guidance on database architecture and application software choices.
• Collaborate with agencies, vendors, and IT staff under SCRUM/Agile practices.
