Responsibilities

Performs technical consultant functions for multiple, highly complex program areas and applications.
Provides systems and technical expertise on IT development to support program sections.
Reviews requests for information services and recommends the most efficient solutions; presents findings to management.
Provides expertise in selecting and implementing application software, office automation, security, and admin programs.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, modifies and documents applications using the OTS tech stack.
Leads meetings, tracks action items, and follows up on critical tasks for project success.
Responds to system emergencies and resolves problems independently or with staff.

Education

Associate’s degree in information technology

Bachelor’s degree

Bachelor’s degree with IT coursework (24 semester hours in information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics) + 2 years IT experience

Master’s degree
