Job summary

The Office of Technology Services (OTS) in Louisiana seeks an experienced Senior Developer to join the DPS applications team in the Greater Baton Rouge area. The incumbent will design, develop, implement and support IT systems using the OTS technology stack, collaborating with partner agencies, OTS personnel and technical vendors to deliver modernized applications.

Key focus areas include .NET/C#, SQL, Blazor, and modern front-end frameworks, plus SOA principles, SSRS/PowerBI reporting, DevOps

Qualifications

• Led or contributed to development teams using the Microsoft stack (.NET/C#, SQL, Blazor).
• Familiar with frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular and with Typescript/NodeJS.
• Experience with SOA principles and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience building reports with SSRS or PowerBI and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Setting up DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Proficient with Git version control and branching strategies.
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and support IT applications using the OTS technology stack.
• Collaborate with partner agencies, OTS staff, and vendors to deliver reliable IT services.
• Analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement new or enhanced applications.
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to standards.
