Job summary

State of Louisiana through the Division of Administration/Office of Technology Services in the Greater Baton Rouge area seeks an experienced IT Developer to join the AppDM Section. You will work with partner agencies, OTS staff and vendors to analyze, design, develop, implement and support information systems using the OTS technology stack.

The role involves building modernized applications, contributing to SOA patterns, and delivering reports with SSRS and PowerBI.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft development stack (.NET, C#, SQL, Blazor)
• Familiarity with modern JS frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, TS, NodeJS)
• Knowledge of SOA principles and enterprise integration
• Experience creating reports with SSRS or PowerBI
• Experience setting up DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Version control with Git
• Agile/SCRUM environment experience

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting for complex programs and applications
• Analyze, design, develop, implement and support IT systems
• Develop and enhance applications using the OTS technology stack
• Participate in project meetings and ensure task accountability
• Troubleshoot and resolve highly technical software issues
• Contribute to architecture discussions and database design
