Job summary

Long Island Power Authority is seeking an IT Senior Analyst, Applications to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud-based and enterprise applications that support essential utility operations.

Reporting to the Manager, Applications and Data, you will manage lifecycle activities, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to drive modernization and data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years IT experience in enterprise applications, cloud platforms, or system integrations.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, MSPs, and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of cloud-based and enterprise applications that support mission-critical utility operations.
• Manage application lifecycle activities including upgrades, patches, enhancements, and vendor-supported releases.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and coordinate resolutions with vendors, service providers, and internal teams.
• Support cloud modernization, data integration, and analytics enablement.
