Job summary

LIPA is seeking an IT Senior Analyst, Networking to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure across data center, cloud, and remote locations. You will ensure security, reliability, and scalability while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires deep expertise in enterprise networking, cloud connectivity, and network security, with leadership for complex projects and strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Experience with cloud networking and security (Azure, ExpressRoute, cloud firewalls).
• Strong routing/switching knowledge (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, cloud networks).
• Configure Cisco/Palo Alto devices and Meraki/Ruckus wireless systems; manage ISE for NAC.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and resolve connectivity issues; ensure security controls.
• Plan, implement, and maintain cloud networking (Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall; hybrid connectivity).
• Develop network documentation and SOPs; perform root cause analysis of outages.
