Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) is seeking an IT Senior Analyst, Applications to ensure the performance, reliability, and modernization of cloud-based and enterprise applications essential to utility operations. You will report to the Manager, Applications and Data and work with business units, IT leadership, and external providers.

The role focuses on lifecycle management, cloud platform operations, data integration support, and collaboration to meet cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years of progressive IT experience supporting enterprise applications, cloud platforms, or system integrations.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and coordinating resolutions across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of cloud-based and enterprise applications that support mission-critical utility operations.
• Manage application lifecycle activities including upgrades, patches, enhancements, and vendor-supported releases.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain documentation for application configurations, integrations, and operational procedures.
• Support cloud modernization initiatives and monitor performance and costs.
