Sentara Health is seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Senior IT Analyst to support and enhance critical Health Plan and Case Management systems. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, Case Management leadership, and technical teams to design, develop, and optimize data solutions that improve operational efficiency and member outcomes. The Senior IT Analyst will leverage expertise in SQL development, ETL processes, reporting, and application support to deliver scalable business solutions.
Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, creating and maintaining complex SQL code and SSIS packages, supporting application enhancements, automating processes, and ensuring data integrity across systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong Health Plan and Case Management knowledge, experience working with JIVA or similar care management platforms, and the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Analytics, or a related field (Preferred).
5+ years of relevant experience with a degree may be accepted in lieu of advanced education requirements.
7+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
No specific certification or licensure requirements.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $100,817.60 - $149,656.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
