Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer, Level 2, in Laurel, MD. The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

You will oversee information assurance programs, craft and enforce security policies, and help secure DoD systems across programs. The position demands a seasoned ISSO with at least 10 years of relevant experience and IAM Level I+ per DoD 8570.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 10 years ISSO experience on programs/contracts of similar scope.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for an information assurance program.
• Proposes, coordinates, implements, and enforces information security policies.
• Maintains operational security posture for an information system.
• Assists with security management and day-to-day operations.
• Evaluates security solutions for compliance with requirements.
• Performs vulnerability and risk assessments for certification and accreditation.
• Provides configuration management for security software/hardware/firmware.
• Manages changes to systems and assesses security impact.
• Prepares and reviews SSPs, Risk Assessments, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Supports DIACAP-compliant security authorization activities.
