Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to join our team in Laurel, MD. An active TS/SCI with POLY is required to support the program’s information assurance posture and RMF authorization activities.

You will assist in developing and enforcing security policies, maintaining SSPs and A&A documentation, and coordinating changes to ensure secure operation of information systems and compliance with DoD/ODNI policies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as an ISSO on programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Experience in at least two areas: security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field from an accredited college/university.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level I or higher.
• Four additional ISSO years may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Support program/infrastructure information assurance programs.
• Assist in proposing and enforcing information security policies and standards.
• Maintain security posture and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Handle day-to-day security operations and risk analysis.
• Prepare and review SSPs, RA reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Support RMF-based security authorization activities.
