Job summary

Data Computer Corporation in Maryland seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for ISSO 2. The candidate must have a TS/SCI with Poly and a strong information assurance background.

Responsibilities include supporting security programs, performing vulnerability assessments, and maintaining SSPs and RMF artifacts, with DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher required. Salary range is $192,000–$220,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ten years’ ISSO experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Experience in two of: security tools, hardware/software security, protocols, and encryption techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four years of experience may substitute.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for an information assurance program, coordinating and enforcing security policies and methodologies.
• Provide configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware; assess security impact of changes.
• Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Support security authorization activities in compliance with NIST RMF.
