Job summary

J&T Business Consulting in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Senior ISSO to lead information systems security for a large software development program. You will implement security policies, assess threats, and maintain SSPs and IA posture across a complex IT environment.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph, 10+ years as an ISSO, and strong experience with IAVA management and security documentation. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years as an ISSO
• At least 5 years using IAVA management tools
• At least 5 years maintaining SSPs and related security docs
• Experience with security evaluations of software systems/architectures
• Experience proposing and enforcing information systems security policies and methodologies

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist in evaluating security solutions meeting requirements for multiple information types.
• Assist with Configuration Management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and implement best practice incident detection and remediation.
• Maintain records on systems and upgrades (workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, switches).
• Maintain operational security posture for information systems.
• Support ISSM in maintaining IA posture for system/program.
• Develop and update System Security Plans and IA documentation.
• Support IAVA management activities and security scans.
