Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our onsite team in Plano, Texas. The role focuses on compliance, risk management, and security program delivery within NISPOM, RMF, and JSIG frameworks.

You will work with the ISSM to ensure policy adherence, conduct security assessments, and update documentation while coordinating with multiple stakeholders. A current Top Secret clearance is required, with Security+ or equivalent certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG, NISPOM and related regulations is expected.
• Familiarity with DoD classified environments and cyber incident response is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring system compliance, auditing, security plan development and delivering security education and awareness.
• Investigating information system security violations and preparing reports with corrective actions.
• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests within authority.
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments and integrating new cybersecurity processes and tools.
