Job summary

GDIT in Ogden, UT is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to manage the security posture of DoD SAP environments and support Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities. This role requires TS/SCI+Poly clearance and collaboration with the ISSM/ISO to maintain authorization boundaries.

The position emphasizes authorization documentation, continuous monitoring, incident handling, and training, with coordination across DoD and contractor teams in SAP programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• 2 years SAP experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operational security posture for information systems.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Coordinate hardware/software/firmware changes with the ISSM and AO/DAO.
• Conduct periodic reviews for compliance with the security authorization package.
• Monitor system recovery and ensure security features are restored.
• Ensure audit records are collected and documented.
• Perform ISSO duties for internal and external customers.
• Attend required security training.
