Job summary

Leidos seeks a Secret-cleared Information System Security Officer to support the ABMS Digital Infrastructure in DoD environments. You will implement DoD, NIST, and CNSS cybersecurity policies and maintain security documentation for ATO readiness.

With 5+ years in cybersecurity and ISSO experience, you will apply RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and vulnerability tools (ACAS, Nessus, HBSS, Splunk) to keep systems secure, while collaborating with government and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret clearance.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2–3 years in an ISSO or similar role.
• Knowledge of DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and vulnerability tools (ACAS, Nessus, HBSS, Splunk).
• Experience supporting ATO processes and DoD security documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce DoD, NIST, CNSS policies and standards.
• Develop and maintain security documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, Continuous Monitoring).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist remediation.
• Assist in preparing systems for Authorization to Operate under RMF.
• Direct remediation of technical issues and support risk assessments.
• Contribute to RMF process activities and lifecycle documentation.
• Monitor compliance with IT security, resilience, and availability requirements.
• Stay current on threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.
