Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the USSOCOM EDAT program in Tampa, FL. The ISSO will ensure cybersecurity compliance across the SDLC for Azure-based applications and coordinate with AOs, ISSMs, and system owners to drive RMF-based accreditation.

Strong DoD policy knowledge and cloud security expertise are required. The role requires an active TS clearance, DoD security experience, and certifications such as CISSP/CAP/CASP+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related discipline with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CAP, or CASP+.
• Experience with NIST RMF, eMASS workflows, and DoD cloud accreditation processes.
• Proven ability to manage security compliance for cloud-hosted solutions in Azure or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISSO embedded with a software development team to ensure cybersecurity compliance throughout SDLC for Azure-based portal and gateway applications.
• Guide developers in applying DoD policies, NIST RMF, and DISA STIG requirements.
