Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior ISSM to support DISA, overseeing the cybersecurity posture of DoD information systems, implementing RMF, and ensuring compliance with DoD standards. You will develop security policies, conduct risk assessments, and lead continuous monitoring with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field and 6–8+ years of experience, CISSP or CISM, and an active US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience
• CISSP, CISM, or similar cybersecurity certification
• Deep knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and compliance standards (NIST 800-53, RMF, FISMA, ICD 503, JSIG)
• Experience with system security engineering, risk management, and vulnerability assessments
• Strong communication skills and ability to present detailed security reports to stakeholders
• Clearance: US Secret clearance required

Responsibilities

• Manage RMF lifecycle for supported systems enabling ATO accreditation
• Provide ISSM, FISMA, and certification and accreditation support
• Conduct recurring assessments of security controls and documentation in eMASS and PPSM
• Manage whitelist records, address vulnerabilities identified through IAVMS scans, and develop POA&Ms
• Maintain eMASS control records and POA&Ms per ATO conditions and remediation timelines
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities supporting interim and final authorization to test and operate
• Create and deliver cybersecurity test plans, test reports, implementation plans, and authorization materials
• Lead cybersecurity governance and reporting activities, including architecture, security plans, IAVA actions, and IA objectives
• Prepare program documentation and briefings for DISA OAB reviews
